  • Construct nature playscape features at W. M. Johnson Hills Park A playground with a natural twist is being planned for W. M. Johnson Hills Park. The playscape features will be a combination of nature-themed equipment and items found in nature that encourage imaginative play, including but not limited to boulders, logs, stumps, etc.

  • Improve existing playgrounds within the Anderson Parks. Childrens’ playgrounds are some of the most popular attractions within the Anderson Park District system. Fun and safe playgrounds are located at Beech Acres, Juilfs, Kellogg, Laverty, Veterans, and Riverside Parks. Improvements include replacing or repairing pieces of play equipment, adding shade structures, and improving the pedestrian flow in and around playgrounds.

Please visit our Donation page to make a tax deductible donation to help improve the Anderson Parks!

You can also honor someone special and support your community through the Apple Tree monument at Juilfs Park. Leave a legacy for the “Apple of Your Eye” on the farm-themed playground at Juilfs Park. Donors of $100 or more will have their tribute featured in a lasting, meaningful, and creative way on the sponsor Apple Tree.

Forms for donating to the Playground Fund and honoring that special person on the "Apple of Your Eye" Memorial can be found on the Foundation Donation Page located here:
