Why should YOU become a Friend of Anderson Parks?

By becoming a Friend of Anderson Parks, you're showing your love for this great part of our community. The generosity of our Friends helps to advance the Parks Department mission of providing Anderson Township residents with quality parks, facilities, and programs. Plus, you'll have an opportunity to place a lifetime memento in the park and get some great perks!

Friends of the Park levels and benefits

All Friends enjoy early event registration for Park Foundation events, a chance to win VIP parking to our flagship community event Anderson Day Festival & exclusive event merchandise! Additional benefits are listed by level.

Dogwood ($40): standard benefits as listed above

Buckeye ($80): General benefits, plus a 3" leaf-shaped memento on the Juilfs Park Apple Tree Monument

Maple ($120): General benefits, plus 4" apple-shaped memento on the Juilfs Park Apple Tree Monument

Oak ($500): General benefits, plus 5" apple-shaped memento on the Juilfs Park Apple Tree Monument & family message published in the Anderson Park District Park Guide

You will receive a confirmation notice once we process your application and tax-deductible donation.  If you've selected a level with a lifetime memento, we will be in touch with information on next steps.  We'll keep you updated about upcoming Friends events via email, and you can also stay in the loop via our Facebook and Instagram pages.

The Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the fundraising arm of the Anderson Park District. Donations and gifts are tax deductible under Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 170 of IRS Code and Section 92 of the ORC. The value to be deductible for gifts is determined by the tax advisor of the donor or by approved appraisal.
